Andrea shares the Seven Sisters Tjukurpa (creation story), which tells of the sisters’ journey through the land as they are pursued by Wati Nyiru, a man who fell in love with them. Although they were of the wrong skin group, he was determined to make one of them his wife. As the sisters fled, they shaped the land and formed the landscape around Andrea’s home, Mala.
